Jobseekers is a faith-based employment network in Atlanta founded by a group of professional businessmen and women who volunteer time to help others in career transition.
Since our inception almost 30 years ago, Jobseekers has served thousands seeking employment with a networking format supported by our core values.
Jobseekers was founded upon a verse in the Bible, Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” We translate that into job search terms to say, “If you’re doing your job search without God in the process, you’re doing it the hard way.”
Attendees share a special bond of meeting each other while they’re looking for a new job. Anyone in an active job search, regardless of faith, is welcomed and appreciated.
Our meeting environment creates confidence and inspires optimism. Our speakers are role models whose personal life stories open the hearts and minds of attendees.
We provide training and resources for jobseekers to learn new skills that are practical, relevant and help them grow personally and professionally – and land the right job.
We’re thankful for the volunteer leaders, sponsors and many helpers who give their time and efforts to support Atlanta Jobseekers. In addition, we’re grateful for our incredible speakers and contributors who donate their valuable time and advice. To learn more about our history of volunteers click here.
